Racism and Violence: Using Your Power as a Parent to Support Children Aged Two to Five

On Uncle Devin's WEE Nation Radio WPFW 89.3 FM broadcast, his special guest and niece, Shara Cyrus, a Social Worker in Washington, DC, provided a great resource on how parents can have meaningful conversations with their children about racism and violence. Shara referenced this article as a wonderful tool to help parents speak truth to the issue with their children while providing healing.

Read this article written by Rebecca Parlakian from Zero to Three here, which provides thoughts and guidelines for talking about the complex issues of racism and equality in age-appropriate ways with children aged two to five years of age.
