WEE Nation Radio (WNR) is honored to continue our partnership for the second year with the University of Maryland Baltimore County's Sherman Teacher Scholars Program. Through their Diverse Books Project (DBP), they partner with Baltimore City Schools to ensure that early childhood educators at their partner schools have access to high-quality, diverse children's books and opportunities to share ideas and insights about their use. 

 

WNR is a 24/7 children's music radio station and app that provides DBP with another resource for Baltimore City teachers, parents, and students to enjoy the love of books. We interview all authors selected to participate in DBP in our WEE Nation Reads segment, podcast (available on all podcast platforms), and YouTube page. Their book is also read on air, and we play music related to the book's subject. Each quarter, three new authors are selected. WEE bring their stories to life!
